So, I got married on Saturday, and hired a hair/makeup team to beautify me.
Worst mistake ever.
My hair was straight, maxiglided before I left, and all they had to do was curl it and put it half up as I requested.
Instead I got this:
The bun thing up top is OK (even tho i asked for a curly pony) but the bottom is horrendous!!! It looks frizzy and stiff, and there are NO curls!
Why is there a bun on the side of my head?
I was livid.
I had no time to fix it, so I just kept my veil on all day.
The rest of the wedding trip my hair was okay though:

Actually, I do. I figured, I wanted low stress, and less to do myself….instead I got double the stress and more work.
Ah well.

Congratulations!!! When I got married my hair was relaxed and I got it curled. You've got curly hair and had your straightened. LOL. Funny. But it turned out nice and you looked beautiful!

I agree that you do a much better job with your own hair. Why do hairdressers rarely listen to the brief? I am so harsh with my hairdressr these days, too many mishaps have gone down!
Congratulations on the nuptials! On my wedding day my hair was relaxed and I rocked an aline "Maxine Shaw" bob. I was too cute and nobody could tell me any different! ;o)

Congrats! I wore mine half-up half down with clip in extensions. I hired a team too (I live in NYC but we got married in Puerto Rico) and I was SO nervous but we did a trial beforehand so I was able to get exactly what I wanted.

I'm sorry they didn't do your hair the way you wanted it. I'm surprised you didn't do it yourself, you're so good at styling it.
I wore my hair in an updo. I had it professionally done a week before to show me how it would look, I ok'd it and then it was done on my wedding day.
