If you follow my personal blog OK, Dani you know I gave birth to my first child on June 7th. Mommyhood is amazing, rewarding, exhausting, nervewracking, and so much fun!
Unfortunately, mommy hair is not so great.
I was waiting for my pregnancy growth spurt, but it never came. I was waiting for my pregnancy luxuriousness but I got dryness and breakage instead. My hair has never been so thirsty, ever!
Now that the baby’s out, I know I have shedding to look forward to. Sheesh!
I’ve been taking the fastest showers in the world these days, so I don’t have the luxury of washing and deep conditioning my hair as often as I’d like. I’m down to weekly washing, daily moisturizing and my go to style: a bun of course.
This is me every day since lil man has arrived:
Plain, yes. Boring, yes. Easy, YES! Fast, YES!
As for my hair color decision, I have chosen to go jet black, and stay that way. I can do the upkeep myself, and it’ll be less damaging to my hair than going lighter. Who knows when I’d be able to get to a salon to get the color done anyway. I’m too busy with this lil man:
